Sourcing
Inter-best Housewares works closely with over 350 vendors from countries such as China, India, Germany and the United States of America. We have built strong relationships with these vendors by completing our purchasing contracts through reliability and integrity. Our relationships with established vendors spans two decades, and by being a preferred customer, we receive our goods in the most expedient manner. This allows us on-time shipments to our customers. As for sourcing new products, we make it mandatory to attend every major tradeshow in Asia, North America and Europe to ensure the worlds’ best products are available to the Canadian marketplace.


Warehousing
Our local warehousing capabilities consist of 66,000 square feet. The strength and success of our warehouse's organization can be directly attributed to our long standing, highly trained and dedicated employees. We have a fully automated inventory control system which allows us to efficiently monitor inventory from placement of the order to its final destination. Centrally located, our Burnaby facilities are a mere 15 kilometers from Downtown Vancouver.


Distribution
Our distribution network consists of more than 500 retail stores across Canada including chain stores such as Army & Navy, The Overwaitea Food Group, Fields, and Buck-or-Two Dollar Stores. Our merchandise can be found in all major Canadian markets from coast to coast.


Merchandising
Inter-best Housewares uses a professional approach to merchandising by tailoring the needs of every individual client. The process considers all factors associated with image, brand, concept, profile, and audience. Rather than using the traditional stock card approach, commonly used by merchandisers, we custom tailor proprietary displayer units and POP support material for each individual client.

 

Our Customers
Inter-Best has developed and successfully run several major listing programs for clients across Canada such as Thrifty Foods, Army and Navy, Federated Co-op, and The Overwaitea Food Group. These programs consist of providing our clients with a reliable inventory of products in accordance with proprietary planograms developed in-house by Inter-Best.

Policies
Delivery / Freight
There is a minimum order set for $500.00

  • Freight prepaid $500.00 within lower mainland
  • Freight prepaid $1000.00 outside lower mainland excluding remote area
  • Freight prepaid $2000.00 out of province excluding remote area

Restocking Policy
In an effort to keep our prices attractive in a competitive market we have been implementing a Restocking Policy SinceAugust 15, 2006. Restocking Policy for merchandise returned will be implemented on the following basis:
  • Returns after 30 (thirty) days are subject to a 15% restocking charge and will be deducted from the credit note to be issued.
  • Returns after 60 (sixty) days will be subject to a 20% restocking charge and will be deducted from the credit note.
  • Please take notice that No Returns will be accepted after 61 (sixty-one) days and no credit will be issued.
  • We only accept damage claim within 30 (thirty) days after delivery.

Q: What is the status of my order?
A: For shipping status, customers can always phone our office at (604)216-3333 and get an up-to-date status of their orders during business hours. We open Monday through Friday 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. An alternative way is to email us at service@ibislca.com.
